Why do you assume that not being able to afford the donation is the issue? Seems unlikely.

Far more likely imo that people go through different phases in their life - perhaps many of them do not view gambling and by association SBR as a priority at the moment (or maybe they've quit gambling altogether) so as such it does not make sense for them to be a PRO here since they perhaps aren't around much/not gambling.

Been many I'm sure who've decided not to renew pro membership here - could be a whole list of reasons as to why, and I doubt not being able to afford $100/year is one of the bigger ones.

Don't get me wrong, it's disappointing that folks like Gummo/Beerdog, good people, would decide for whatever reason not to renew their membership. Just don't think they or anyone else should be blasted for it or called a broke-dikk (bobbywaves style) for making that choice which they viewed to be in their best interest given where they are in their life.
