Another one for the theory it’s not good to take two weeks off before a playoff game. Looked like a different team.
Worked out well for 49ers with rested players.

Baltimore was rusty and they were playing a team that’s been exceeding expectations on a weekly basis. It was a big upset, but shouldn’t be scratching our heads wondering how it happened.

And the point about coaching is spot on - going for it on 4th down at home early in the game - a home favorite in a big game has more to lose than gain in that spot. Everything that happened in the first half just bolstered Tennessee’s confidence.

49ers only rested one week though. Interesting point by some posters, maybe 2 weeks is too much.

this forum cracks me up sometimes...Baltimore wasn't rusty...and Harbaugh has been a riverboat gambler all year long...how about giving credit to the other team once in a while?...how about saying coach Vrabel had a great game coaching and having his team ready to play...they did it old school style...good ole fashioned smash mouth football...out hustled them, out hit them, and out played them...and pounded the rock with Derrick Henry who was in beast mode once again and unstoppable...why should anyone be surprised after they hammered the Pats the week before in Foxboro?

That logic doesn't play well for the gambling public. It has to be blame when a favorite gets its head handed to them. I haven't seen THAT the game was rigged yet so we are getting better with accepting losses.
