good call Morino...I was on the other side...Carey completely outclassed by Mack Brown...AAC is a dogshit conference full of dogshit teams...kind of making me rethink my position on Memphis and Navy games...PS...I love Wake Forest (+4) vs. Sparty...Deacons got beat up late but are mostly healthy now and this game means a lot to them...they have a dynamic offense that will give Mich ST fits all game long...they are a live dog that can win this game straight up.

I still think wakes injuries will matter here, I'd lean over.

I agree with you Penn State should score easily but their secondary has holes, Pitt moved the ball easily on them, I do think Memphis will score, lean over.

That toughest thing bout that gm imo: I honestly have no freakin clue if pen st will take it seriously or not? Memphis hasn’t exactly shown well in bowls vs way lessor talent than pen st. Memphis can prob pass some but they gonna be under pressure and I don’t think they be able to run at all which a huge part their offense., if you told me pen st was jacked for this game I’d freaking unload on them. lol

I hear ya, Bank...who knows how these kids feel playing about these meaningless bowl games?...I was loving UNC all week long but then when the line moved 2.5 points the other way I had to jump on the owls...and also Temple finished strong and to be honest and fair about it, the ACC hasn't been that impressive...Miami was a complete embarrassment and Pitt should have lost to Eastern Michigan...but I know you have to cap each team and game on individual and different circumstances...probably gonna lay off Memphis and Penn ST

but here is the thing about Memphis...they know this is their chance to prove they can play with the big boys...and they have plenty of NFL talent on the offensive side of the ball, especially at the skill positions...several guys on that team will be playing on Sundays...I have no doubt that they will be able to move the ball and put points on the board...question is can their defense slow down Penn ST enough to make a difference?

I have way more doubt than you guys do about Memphis offense. Memphis was 33 of 66 passing for bout 240 a game these last 2 vs cincy who the only half way legit defense in the conf and they damn sure not on pen st level. What got them past cincy was their ability to run the ball going for almost 200
Rushing in both games. Think we can agree they be lucky to get close to 100 on ground vs psu.

They wernt great protecting the qb in a conf that not exactly shipping pass rushers to the nfl. Pen st gonna be living in the backfield imo. The only power 5 they faced was a crappy ol miss team they could hardly muster anything against and nothing close to pen st talent up front, just has bigger stronger guys than the aac teams they play and that gave them problems.

I’m not sayin pen st gonna shut them out but I think you asking more than they capable to score much more than 20 vs pen st. Only one team scored 30 on psu all year and that gophers team has a huge Oline along with 2 wrs who locks to be playing Sunday’s. Osu only managed 28 vs psu! Only 3 teams broke 21 vs them all year.

Both these teams rush it 55% of the time. Which team gonna be in 2nd and short after every rushing attempt while the other be in 2nd and 3rd and long? I feel like pen st will absolutely control time of possession and shouldn’t have any problem scoring in the mid 30s.

Maybe psu disinterested but unlike some the other games I don’t see any evidence one way or the other on pen st motivation and I truly believe if you taking Memphis you hoping pen st doesn’t care cause if they both bring their A games this a no doubt dd win imo. Any psu guys sitting out? Any articles questioning their desire to be in this Game? As I already mentioned If I was sure pen st wanted this game it be one my biggest plays of bowl season. Unfortunately I’m not but without some evidence like we had with canes that they don’t care I can’t see backing Memphis.
