Shady business model by FOXBET??? (pics)

I've been loosely tracking this since the start of ncaab and it seems to be a standard practice from this outfit....


Sorry for the long winded post but try to follow along, seems like outright targeting from FOXBET/BETSTARS here.



Once you log in and click on "ncaab" the odds for all games will pop up....Some odds are true/current odds and others are very obviously alternate lines. The problem I see is that your novice/square player is not going to realize this and will be betting into alt. lines without meaning to.

For example, the other night Iowa played at Iowa State and the true line was I.ST -4.......






If you clicked on "ncaab" lines on FOXBET this is what shows up (Iowa State -9.5 +225) ..a clear alt. line:





If you click the "more wagers" link they list a variety of other lines for the game, none of which are the true/current line of -4:











Seems to me they are preying on novice/square/clueless gamblers and have a huge edge on any wager being placed. Is this ethical? I have another example with tonights UTEP/NC A&T game where they are dealing UTEP -23.5 on the regular NCAAB dropdown menu which is an absolute JOKE

They're just posting the first wager of the list, a standard alt line of +/- 6 points.

Some software will do this automatically, especially live software.

Probably not intentional to try to fool novices, I've seen this many times.

It would not surprise me at all if Betstars management decide this was a good idea due to better profits for them. One of the worst majors as far as their business strategies IMHO.
