#18You think so? You don't think the whole "Vegas" show vibe etc...wouldn't be a unique enough experience to still attract folks from CA? I guess I could see the mystique, excitement dwindling with future generations. But even without being a big gambler, for me anyway, is a damn good time. I have only been out there during football season once, which is what I mostly bet, the other handful of times I still had a blast and I am not a table or slots guy at all.Originally posted by Sam OdomIf Cali went all out gambling like Nevada ... Assuming all things equal between Cali hotels/casinos v. Nev it would all boil down to weather and other actives. Cali wins with a slam dunk
Imagine Hotel del Coronado with a full service Casino
If you dont know The Del... look it upComment -

#25Well thats debatable...Casinos like the Bellagio and Paris are considered part of the 7 modern wonders of the world.....and nothing beats a money guy flooring his Vette on the wide open freeways past Barstow heading to sin city....just my .02.Originally posted by Sam OdomIf Cali went all out gambling like Nevada ... #26Sports betting now up and running in Iowa. Illinois will start by March Madness. Minnesota has advanced a bill, Michigan will pass one today. We are surrounded by it and our clueless Gov won't even bring up the topic...Comment -
