    Covington Catholic wins the Kentucky 5A state football championship
    LEXINGTON, Ky. — Perfection.

    The Covington Catholic football team captured the Class 5A Kentucky state championship Saturday night with a 14-7 win over Frederick Douglass High School at University of Kentucky’s Kroger Field.

    The victory completed an undefeated season for the Colonels (15-0). CovCath has a 44-1 record over the past three seasons.

      Dude whenever they cross the river to play a g c l team from cincy they lose by double digits. Only reason they are undefeated is they quit playing cincy schools.
