#5Hmm interesting theory. Are you saying it's equally dangerous to watch the games on TV as playing? Because I've never suffered a concussion or torn ACL while watching...Originally posted by jjgoldno idea

#8How much are they getting paid in the bowl games, I remember Isaiah Thomas was one of the best 4qtr closers and was going to get a max deal and then now not even a starter, what do the players get if they get a serious injury in a bowl gameOriginally posted by jjgoldThey can blowout a knee by just training and practing

#9If you are really good and expect to get paid at the next level, would you have an insurance policy in place?Originally posted by MiDNiTeHow much are they getting paid in the bowl games, I remember Isaiah Thomas was one of the best 4qtr closers and was going to get a max deal and then now not even a starter, what do the players get if they get a serious injury in a bowl gameComment -

#10Yeah but how much are you going to get max out of the insurance policy compared to a ok career plus do you want a good career or probably a mil or 2 payout, look at McCaffrey so much people were saying he was going to be a big bust, who knows what it would do to him if he was a big bust no one knows the future but pretty sure he's happy with where his career is headedOriginally posted by teeceeIf you are really good and expect to get paid at the next level, would you have an insurance policy in place?Comment -

#11Deandre swift probably won’t play for Georgia in the Sugar Bowl and his backup James Cook was arrested for DUI yesterday. I see Georgia being completely unmotivated for this game lust like last year.Comment -

#16Guess I'm old school loyalty..
The school gave you this opportunity and because of that you have a chance to play at the next level..
Shouldn't you show your gratitude to the school, coaching staff, teammates and yourself by playing?
If your worried about getting hurt then guess what?
Your gonna get hurt!!
If your worried about your stock going down because of a poor performance then you came up against a better team or you weren't prepared..
It happens..
I don't agree with this at all..

#20Careers in NFL don't last as long and contracts shit compared to MLB/NBA, most the nfl contracts are only guaranteed for half of it while they get their brains smashed and feels like all GM's are worried about running backs mileage in college, running backs get the shit end of the deal as so many to choose from and easily replaceable, after Dak gets paid I don't think cowboys are going to pay zekComment -

The only thing any of us care about as fans is rings in the NBA.
This trend will necessitate a 8 team playoff. 2 years from now. Has to happen. Gotta keep the $$$ rolling.Comment -

#31gotta keep track of players sitting out and suspended its key along with motivation. if u have decent round draft potential no need to play in meaningless bowl youll will raise your stock at the combine 5 times over before you raise it in a bowl game and risk injury and all that work since childhood is potentially thrown out the windowComment -
