I'll throw in my 2 cents and say that I don't think Goat is angling here, I think he legit thought that was the rule and just expressed it poorly. There's no reason to say "can't bet the same team or line" unless you're viewing it as two different things. He just obfuscated something really simple, because all he had to say was "can't bet on the same game."

Personally I think leet should get credit because of how it was worded and then going forward no betting the same game. Goat's reasoning about how you could just fade the other guy's plays every time to catch up faster if you get behind does make sense and would make things lame. Same as taking the same side when you're ahead

Take the current situation for instance. If Goat starts to fade Leet hoping that Leet will lose so that he could close the gap it could still backfire if Leet keeps winning. He'd just dig a bigger hole and be more behind. Sure Goat could, as he put it, "get double" if he successfully fade Leet but he would be "losing double" if the fade fails.
