I obviously want you to win all the points so the team does better, but I have a very low opinion of you as a person and as a poker player (for very good reasons), so I'm pessimistic about your chances and unwilling to sugar-coat it for you. Good luck to you for as long as it affects the team.

I wasn't even home most of the day but enough of the pity party. Play to win and whatever happens happens. If you have a defeated attitude then things probably won't end well. Play your game and let the chips fall where they may.

Agree with Jake. I personally feel far more motivated to do well in this than I do in random SBR tourneys since I'm not playing just for myself am playing for all my teammates too. And you should feel the same way, do your absolute best. Ok if you do your best and still perform badly, that's way it goes, some folks are going to do poorly in this at end of the day, no way around that.

But if you start thinking of yourself as a weak link/believing the people you are playing to be better than you, then you are way more likely to do poorly compared to coming in with confidence. Anyone who comes in with the attitude that they think they are going to lose is way more likely to do exactly that than someone who comes in with at least a neutral attitude.

Guess the three US teams going to be in a big battle .... for second place! Not ideal, but given how few points West has, if the others were more equally distributed we could be in last place by quite a bit rather than only a few points out of second.

So in a way guess we are lucky World is dominating so much! Granted still very long way to go but impressive lead thus far.
