Team Match Schedule (Dec 3rd to Dec 6th)

• [*=center]Twelve tournaments per day from 12:00PM-11:00PM ET.
  [*=center]Four players per tournament (1 player from each region).

Scoring details

Each tournament will award 2 points for the winning team, and 1 point for the runner-ups team. Co-champions will be crowned in the event of a tie with an equal division of the pot. A leader board will be
maintained in Players Talk showing how many points each team has.

The only way West comes in anything less than 2nd would be due scheduling. We have the worst of it time bracket wise. I see it West, East, Central, World.

I mostly agree. Even if it makes it tougher on myself individually, I hope SBR in the future will just do Top 36 from US overall, no regard to region.

This geographical breakdown is obviously a bit unbalanced, and it further seems to be causing teams slight difficulty - with everyone on our team for instance being in the same time zone, all those who work are doing so at roughly same hours, making it quite tough to fill the schedule appropriately. If our team members were scattered throughout US, it would probably be much easier.

I get why they want to do the regional thing for a team event. Adding a sense of regional pride/rivalry gives it a little more meaning than if we were just 4 randomly created teams of 12. But I agree it's problematic for multiple reasons

I've said before an event that has a team draft at the end would be pretty fun (top 48 qualify period, top 4 scorers overall are the captains who draft among the remaining 44), and there's more of a sense of team pride when you're chosen that way than if the teams are just made by RNG. Idk though

In the grand scheme it doesn't really matter, but it's the "hook" of the event. And I think a fantasy draft event would be a fun hook, and ultimately more fair to everyone

It's why I love the world cup.

Creates more of a sense of community, and yes you are all right, I don't really care or anybody's playing from, but there's no event brings SBR players together, or more people on the rail rooting for team then this event
