80 is PLENTY for a contest that is manually graded, and as I said earlier, this contest took a full week to fill, so you had ample time to join of you wanted to.

By the way, when this gets near 80 entries and guys still want to do teams, make sure everyone sends points quickly as teams are not official until all points are sent. If there is 80th entry before some teams are complete, those that sent partials will be refunded.

Because of the rules, three different unit designations and then secret collection of final 4* star play. If you are aware of a software that accommodates that, by all means do tell. Preferably for free.

I should add that I will not be the person gathering the 4* at the end since I am not in the CR office and thus am this in this contest. That wll most likely be Genie.

SBR Sportsbook should never be manually graded

It is very very inefficient, labor intensive and mistakes , the technology is too great today for any manual stuff

Then perhaps change the format--- I know SBR contests platform allow for multiple *** selections, as evidenced by the current big ticket contest ongoing.

Put another way-- and no disrespect meant-- I'd bet to a man (or woman), if given the choice, they would vote for the software (and changing the **** options) grading the contest over human beings....

And in doing so, you would also solve another of your problems, which is having to cap the contest entries.

5 3-star selections, 5 2-star selections, 5 1-star selections versus 20 selections with 10 3-star selections? is there really that much of a difference?

I just saw this today. I’ve been out of the country, out of the city and just out in general the past 2 weeks. Seems very quick to setup for bowl season. I would have loved to participated.

I just saw this today. I’ve been out of the country, out of the city and just out in general the past 2 weeks. Seems very quick to setup for bowl season. I would have loved to participated.

Cinci I have at least 5 computers, 2 phones and 3 tablets that stay on all the time. I'm sure at least one of them was logged in the last 2 weeks but I personally didn't check the forum nor posted to the forum. Seems like a contest like this should be open to everyone and not just who can reply first.

it doesn't just give u the daily points automatically , u have to visit the site i would hope at least, next year mark it down on ur calendar so u will be ready for the contest

I have no idea what you mean here? I did not personally visit the site while I was gone. I've logged on to different computers which probably have SBR in one of the tabs in the browsers but I didn't physically "Log In" or browse any threads. If I had, I'm sure I would have seen this thread. My browser automatically logs in to SBR btw, I don't have to. I'm not begging to join some contest I'd probably would come in last anyway. Just pointing out that not everyone posts here every day or week. I actually usually do view and post almost every day. Just so happened the last 2 weeks is probably the longest I've been away from this site in several years. shIT happens.

If you look around for about 5 seconds, you will see that Spider has another bowl contest for those that didn't get in this one or for those that want to enter both.

I do love this contest in general, but i wish that next year they didnt include the 4star rule where you have to make a selectiom in the last game. That sort of diminishes the handicapping of the contest since one might not like that game for instance

I didn't set anything up. I'm sure I could write a script if I wanted to but not very important to me. Like I mentioned, I have several computers and I may read the forum on any of them at any time. I seldom have to log in, the computer is already logged into the site. All I have to do is start surfing threads. So maybe as long as your logged in, you collect points. Like I said, I was away and didn't check the site for probably 2 weeks. So if I got points then it gave it to me automatically.

Why would you have a bowl contest deadline 2 weeks prior to the actual bowl season? In the past, SBR have had bowl contests that didn't start until the 1st bowl game. So I know I wasn't looking for it.
BigOrange mentioned that there's another contest by spider???? I haven't found that contest here yet either but I really haven't been looking real hard. No big deal. I'm sure it won't be the last contest that I've missed. Good luck to you.
