Two best defenses in the AFC? Really? Both are good but ignoring what NE is doing on defense is outright silly and can only be based in jealousy/hatred.
You may want to look at the TOP for Baltimore (35:04) and well Buffalo hasn't played a single team...not one...in the top 15 in scoring on offense outside of NE and that is inflated by their defensive scoring. Then look at the point differential NE's opponents have between when they play NE versus the rest of the league. Its substantial.

NE is holding its opponents to 17.1 PPG below what they average vs their other opponents. People can use whatever mental gymnastics they like, NE's defense is great.
