Alabama beats Auburn
LSU beats Georgia
Oregon beats Utah (May not even need that). Alabama is in

We’re going to see lots of resume comparisons between Alabama, Oklahoma and Utah in the days ahead, no doubt, and lots of spin that the Tua-less Tide still stand the best chance of anyone of competing with LSU, Ohio State and Clemson in a final four. But nothing that happened Saturday makes Alabama’s profile any stronger. They still need to trounce Auburn (no guarantee) to even remain in the conversation. And they still should not finish ahead of a 12-1 conference champion who defeats a top 10-15 team in their league’s title game, not if the committee cares about its stated protocols.
But what Alabama needs most at the moment is not necessarily dominance but doubt. They need there to be real concerns about whether the Big 12 and/or Pac-12 champ is impressive enough. Their only path to the playoff is being deemed unequivocally better by the committee. The Ducks getting beat and the Sooners still looking beatable just makes this more compelling.

Oklahoma and Utah will be above Alabama. And I'm not sure Bama can beat Auburn. Auburn coach is fighting for his job.

Zero chance a pac 12 team gets in and Georgia will have at least one loss, it will come down to Georgia or Oklahoma, the committee can take into account injuries when d cidingbwhi makes the playoffs.

Don’t even think they need ducks to beat utes. Ducks screwed Utah over by losing, now that pac12 championship win won’t be enough to jump a team the committee always sucks off anyways, they couldn’t wait for a excuse to be able to let bama in.

'Bama's best chance was yesterday, Texas A&M had Georgia ripe for the picking and just couldn't get it done.
(Aggies still easily covered though)

Why did that game matter to bama? Doesn’t matter who Uga losses to. If they lose to LSU same as losing yesterday.

You got to see what LSU wants to do. They may choose to lose a tight one to Georgia to keep Bama out. I don't trust LSU coach. They lost a championship before like this when Bama sneaked in after they beat them.

bama realism starting to kick in I see but if ur saban or a bama fan if u could pick a yr that u dont want to get in, because youre gonna get embarrassed, its this one. bama's lack of tua and defense will have them getting embarrassed against clemson and ohio state, au is a live dog to end any discussion on sat., if only they had a better qb, hopefully au pulls out the entire playbook and they end any bama discussion and nicky wont even be that mad either because he knows this aint the yr

1) Orgeron has too much integrity to tank a game.
2) Orgeron and even secretly knows Alabama ain’t beating LSU without Tua.
Hell Alabama couldn’t beat LSU with Tua.

Assuming LSU beats Georgia then Bama is #4 seed and LSU is #1. You think Orgeron wants to play Alabama again? The networks will not want to see a rematch. The ratings will be horrible without Tua.

Orgeron would not lose sleep over playing Alabama without their QB.
