Harden cares more about stats than winning?

It's about efficiency. Chucking a bunch of bad shots (even if you're "making your own shot") -- not as valuable anymore with the current level of skill and inside-out game and focus on teamwork. Just doesn't really get the job done by itself anymore

Lebron can do everything, and he's always been insanely efficient. Forget Harden for the moment. Compare Bron's shooting percentages to Kobe's. There's a chasm there. And let's not act like that's because Lebron never takes mid-range jumpers or even threes

So first, let's stop giving Kobe so much credit just because he had bad shot selection and made a lot of tough fadeaways. Great player, but nowhere near top 20 of all-time. And frankly I'm just not gonna suck Kobe's dick because he took 8 awful shots a game and made 2 of them. And Harden's not even on Kobe's level, just has the same issue, and the percentages show it

Bryant was a far better defender than Lebron. Not even close in that aspect. Can make the case that Bryant was as good a 1 on 1 defender as Jordan. Sure, Bryant took tougher shots. But he was also able to beat Boston while pretty much getting double and triple teamed. Lebron never got through that Boston team till he teamed up with Wade. And Bryant's team when he beat Boston was straight trash. His second best player was Pau Gasol player who had never won a single playoff game in his career.

Bryant knew how to win at the end of games and Lebron was living off one buzzer beater shot in the ECF against the Magic for his entire career until he teamed up with Wade. He melted down in the finals against Dallas, which Bryant would never do. And then in 2013 against the Spurs he melted down in the final 2 minutes with 2 massive turnovers that basically gave the championship away if it wasn't for Ray Allen.

I think if Lebron wins more rings you can make the case he's better than Bryant, but this reg season stuff does not matter any longer, especially something like fg%. Chris Paul has been one of the most efficient PGs in NBA history in terms of fg% for a guy his size and also assist to TO ratio but he's never won anything. Anthony Davis has one of the highest PER in NBA history, and he hasn't even won more than a single playoff round after 8 years in the league.

Efficiency? Eh.

Iverson? Way less efficient than Chris Paul.

Also a way better player. More accomplished as well.
