#38Arizona ending was a joke. Ball should have probably been dead twice but refs just let it go and didn't even review it. I can't believe my team was +10 and up 3 with less than a minute to go and found a way to push. Unbelievable.Comment -

#39I listen to Cowherd pretty regularly more for just his content rather than his betting angles. This year he does seem to be taking a lot of dogs. He started off well but has been dropping in the last few weeks. Definitely more of a NFL guy as opposed to NCAA. I don't know why he's dabbling with college.
He was the local NBC affiliate sportscaster and had a local talk radio show here in Portland back in the 90s. He's a super smart guy and had all the right parts and got taken to ESPN. I waited on him once in a restaurant I worked at about 25 years ago. He was with his first wife and another couple - overall, a really genuine and nice guy back then (good tipper too). Like so many that become famous, he seems to have turned a bit egotistical but it's hard to know how much of that is just an act for the show and his public persona.
I've noticed on his show he has a tendency to waffle back and forth a bit on positions from day to day and then claim he called something right. Usually, just for big things like the Superbowl.
Cowherd does have some well thought out and justified takes, and seems to have some solid sources within the NFL and NBA. Overall, I think he's one of the good guys in the industry and I enjoy him. As a totally amateur bettor I like his, "blazing 5" but don't put my house payment on it.Comment -

#44If you think any of the media mouths, and their "inside sources", are knowledgable gamblers, you're crazy. He'll have good years and bad years but in the long run, he's going to lose. I have yet to listen to anyone on TV or radio who has true gambling knowledge, as opposed to simply knowing the stats, players, etc.Comment -
