The league is done going soft on guys.

I'd put some money on it being the rest of the year.

They will set a precedent with this one. This has never happened nor should it happen again.

Pouncey will get several as well. Just not as much as Garret. Rudolph should get at least 1 as well for pulling (attempting) Mile's helmet off, and it appears he tried to kick him in the groin as well.

Maybe I should rewatch. Here's what I saw. Garrett grabbed Rudloph, was getting held back but was strong enough to take off his helmet, then barely knicked him in head with his own helmet. Rudolph was perfectly fine, tossed his hands up to complain to ref. Pouncy came in and launched a series of punches against Garrett who was getting held by other O lineman. Garrett went down, Pouncy got on top and threw more punches, then stood up and kicked him a couple times in the helmet while his comrade O lineman was on him.

What'd I miss?

Look at the video at 1:48. Rudolph clearly started it by trying to rip off Garrett's helmet and tried to gouge his eyes as well. Garrett got pissed and took Rudolph's helmet. Then 2 of his linemen rushed Garrett, so he retaliates by swinging the helmet at Rudolph who was still trying to rush him as well.

So what are you exactly trying to prove? You have one case where Garrett swung his helmet, so... What do you mean? I don't think this is a race issue. So why make it one?

I've seen it a lot in practices albeit many years ago. We were always taught to not take your helmet off as someone else may hit you with it, so

A lil bitch ass QB is not going to punk you on TNF. Rudolph twisted his helmet and tried to gouge his eyes all while talking shit. Garrett had to put him in his place. I don't think he intended to hit him with the helmet but when 3 guys rushed him, he swung with what he had.

Garrett is a gentle giant but watch out when he's hyped up on the football field. He's taken out several QBs by hitting them late by getting out of control. It's football. You have to live on that edge. Your job is to take guys out. you don't really want to injure them but it's your job to kill them if you can. A game of contradictions.
