Not scared its just not worth messing around with 1 or two point spreads in hoops. How many time is a team up by four or five and yields the last second meaningless three on a two point spread. You miss enough massive payouts this way you change your betting techniques. Lakerboy for as long as you have been around I’m surprised you would ever mess with a small spread but I rarely see you bet favorites so it might not matter to you but I will never bet anybody -1 to -2.5.... same reason I won’t bet an underdog on the ML who is small odds you know how many times in college football I have had a team at +1.5 be down 1 and go for two and lose and I win while everybody else had them +120. Happened a lot more than once. I just like to increase me chances at winning and you would be surprised on how much this has helped over the years.
