#45I watched this horror show. Cal's kids just all stood there not knowing WTF to do with the ball. Then drive to hoop looking for teammate help but no help so just float up uunfocused shots and miss. Then over defended their own basket and 3 Cats fighting for the rebound as Aces got back on D instead of fast breaks and solid drives to offensive basket. Cal needs a floor general tout suite.Comment -

#48I watched most of the game at our local sportsbook. Sometimes it just takes a while for the one and done filled teams to get traction in the regular season.. i am sure Kentucky will be ready for the tournament. Lastly, this will probably be the Aces biggest game of year, for sure for there coach who was from Kentucky.
Best of luck the rest of the year.

#49I think its fair to assume everyone has lost a bet or two (or 12 seaweed) in the past so throwing stones is hypocritical.
Obviously, this game was a complete fluke. Kentucky would crush Evansville 99 out of 100 times (or some long odds like that). It just so happens this was the odd game out. Kentucky failed to show up and Evansville played well. If anyone doesn't believe this game was an fluke, then please explain why Evansville isn't ranked above Kentucky in any statistical power rankings today. Hell, Kentucky only fell 3 spots to #5 on Kenpom.
I've lost bets simliar bets to this (UMBC beating Virginia last year). Everyone has. If you deny it you are lying.
I appreciate Shocka posting the play and would have been on it too and lost if I hadn't gotten in late last night.Comment -

#50ESPN had a banner up 2 days ago that read... Should UK be on upset alert and later, another banner that said who was most likely to lose, Kentucky and another school that I didn’t really pay much attention. I think Duke or Auburn.
Somebody at ESPN knew something.Comment -

That seems to indicate some UK players were in on a fix. Another poster stated something about UK players standing around not making plays. Maybe there's some truth to conspiracy?Comment -

#53more like Kentucky acts like their coach and often play like they only have to show up and they will be given a win. This shit happens when your team is a revolving door and most are worried about stats for scouts instead of team work. It is the same reason Calipari has crushed recruiting for over a decade yet has only one national championship to show for it.
The simple fact is Kentucky got out played from start to finish. No conspiracy just a bunch of kids who learned a lesson on at this level you have to show up every night. There arent very many handouts anymore because smaller schools have players that can ball these days and use not being recruited as motivation when playing the heavy weights.Comment -

#59With a 71-60 loss to Illinois State today, Evansville finishes 0-18 in Missouri Valley play.
On November 12, the Purple Aces beat No. 1 Kentucky, 67-64.
They are the first team in NCAA history to beat the AP No. 1 team and lose all of their conference games in a single season.Comment -
