My dad was a 30 year career Navy military engineer. He retired top dog.
My dad was my hero.
Me? I was eligible but it was peace time so I didn't serve, I would have served with a smile on my face.
Almost went to Arizona State for ROTC but the travel was a bitch.

I know you mean this as some sort of tribute but to put this phony president who had his daddy write him up a letter claiming to have fake bone spurs to avoid serving in uniform is a horrible insult
