How can any team in need of a qb not take him first
If we were talking Terminator, he looks like the upgraded version of Tom Brady.
One that has running ability too
Yeah its only college I know.

he's good and accurate bama's lack of defense made him look great guys were wide open and most passes were short passes dont get it twisted he's not better than tua. every time tua has had a so so game for him its still good statwise and its always been when he's coming back from injury against the best teams in the country and not 100%

Not sure..Tua has regressed after his big second half of that national title game.
Then you see him tonight after the game was over limping off the field like he couldn't walk all of a sudden..lol
Guy knew the camera was on him and trying to give an excuse by limping off..sorry that don't work for me

Even if they have the number 1 pick they would trade out to a team that wants a qb. They would get a huge hall for it..come on now guy stay wth me

There is only one good white QB under 35 in the NFL the odds are stacked against him.

tua was under duress all game every other passing play an lsu guy in the backfield joe didnt have that problem huge difference and tua was obviously hampered could tell that from the first snaps of the game he couldnt move like normal as swift with his feet in the pocket orgeron was smart enough to bring the blitzes early and often couple that with bama's pathetic secondary and u have an lsu victory

Not saying Burrow will be a good pro, but he is the best big gun slinger in college since Matt lienart and Ryan Leaf. Based on college experience only. Lots of deep passes, not a lot of dink and dunk.

didnt see whole game how many over 15-20 yds? I faded lsu last year think burrow had like 8 tds and 5 ints going into the bama game was on them this year been a long time if ever Ive seen a qb look like night and day from one year to the next totally different player

Has he played another year anywhere? They better stick to the golden rule, one year starters don’t make good nfl QBs very often!!

coaching is everything. they grabbed the assistant from the saints and paying him like 500k to fix the passing game. smartest thing ole ed ever did. i still don't trust burrow as a no. 1 pick to carry a bad team.

i posted about it in september. i read it in a preseason mag. i'm gonna look it up. he may have got more than 500k/yr. they wanted him pretty bad. this offense looks better than the one with jarvis and odell.

i was wrong. it was 400k. but i guess after they make the playoffs and about 15 mil, he deserves a raise:
The LSU Tigers return seven starters on offense, eight on defense and landed a top-five recruiting class. But it may be the new $400,000-per-year assistant who makes the biggest impact. Coach Ed Orgeron hired JoeBrady away from the New Orleans Saints to serve as LSU’s passing game coordinator. Brady’s tasks: integrate elements of the Saints’ potent passing game into LSU’s playbook while also incorporating the run-pass option principles he learned as a graduate assistant under then-Penn State offensive coordinator and current Mississippi State head coach Joe Moorhead. Believe it or not, LSU’s archaic power running game may be a thing of the past. “I’m so fired up about our offense,” Orgeron said during spring practice. "i just see the offense i finally want."

he is right. you have to win with talent in the sec. i always thought schiano and rutgers were a good fit and he should get another shot. its the best they ever been and recruiting that area you only really have to compete with syracuse. expectations never huge at rutgers either. get a few bowl games and you keep your job.
toler, i just grabbed nevada live at +700. hope they hold these guys to a field goal

fortunately sdsu is the same way. i have been watching the whole game and nevada d line putting heavy pressure on qb and stopping the run. sdsu offense is uncomfortable as they aren't sustaining drives. the pick at the end was just icing as the line went up from 425 to 700 when sdsu hit the red zone.

nevada playing for 6th win and bowl eligibility and beat them last year guess thats enough to motivate them this is also sdsu's homecoming

sdsu has motivation issues. put them up against good teams, they play their ass off. put em up against the scrubs, and they play like them. great fade as a favorite. not as a dog.

What does that say
It says Urban didn't know how to use quarterbacks. J.T. Barrett was a running back playing QB. The only reason Urban got a Natty at OSU was Barrett getting hurt in the Michigan game. Cardale Jones (who was a much better passer) shredded Wisconsin, Bama and Oregon and that never would have happened with Barrett. Once Haskins was chosen over Burrow he proved he didn't what the Hell he was doing. OSU was successful despite Urban who was a great recruiter (his true genius) but a poor game coach. This is why everyone is now shocked at how good OSU is with Ryan Day as coach. Day coached the first 4 games last year and was dominant and then Urbs took over and OSU struggled.
