Gophers have played NOONE and the offense has 1 NFL caliber player at WR. PSU should shut down the Gophs, holding them to under 17.

Gophs secondary has been exploited by division 2 schools earlier this year, there are holes that a legit Big10 qb should be able to exploit. No big plays, but plenty of 3rd down conversions and more scoring opportunities.

Only angle for MN is maybe PSU looking ahead....

Penn State looking ahead to Indiana at home? Highly unlikely. If anyone is looking ahead, it is Minnesota, who travels to Iowa City next week to play the Hawkeyes. I agree that Penn State wins this game going away in the 2nd half. As far as this being the "safest" ML wager, I can name you at least 10 wagers that area lot safer than this one. Still, not a bad post by a homer who thinks that Kurt Cousins is the best QB in the NFL and the Vikings are going to go to the Super Bowl.

Minnesota gave up 31 to Purdue. Same Purdue team that had like 110 total yds and 7 points on Penn State. Penn State's D is as good as anyone in the country. Their D-line will run rings around that 380 lb Minn tackle and the other dude thats 330 or whatever. You just can't simulate that kind of speed in practice. Penn State by 10 atleast imo
