How the NfL allowed the Chargers to move to LA never made any sense other than the team going to a bigger media market. There's a whole laundry list of reasons why it was never going to work. Players, even in the States, are taxed by the State the game is held in.
The UK would require work visas from Aug- Feb making the players basically citizens and the UK income tax rate is 45% on anything over $100k. Not to mention supplemental tax issues that in the end would reduce a $1MM salary to less than $350,000. Not even California is that bad, and we see how well that's working for NFL.

Owner will never sell. Greedy pigs like that only care about one thing: His team is now worth 2.5 billion being in L.A.
He will never move irregardless if there are no fans at home games. Not when he has a 20-year lease in "Kroenke Land" for $1 dollar per year. Plus the Chargers have four, 5-year team options to extend that lease. One of the greatest money deals ever struck by a pro sports team.
Would take years in court trying to force that greedy pig to move to London or sell his team.
Pig Spanos is not like the other Nfl owners, meaning he has no bad track record of sexually assaulting and making racist comments to team employees, like "Carolina Jerry" who was forced to sell.
The Pig also does not attend massage parlors, getting video taped while paying for sex, like Kraft.

Jags go to London if anyone does. I could see Cincy relocating to San Diego or San Antonio when the lease is up in 2026. The fans in cincy should ask the NFL to intervene now to get Mike Brown out if they want to keep their team.
