ASU starter Jayden Daniels. Somebody on twitter who's pretty reliable broke the news last night

ASU were still favourites at that point but you could see line already start to trickle out

Was about -2 when I posted last night and I actually got on earlier getting USC as an underdog

Official news came out shortly before kick and line actually ballooned out to -6 at Pinnacle before settling at -5

Also probably had some to do with all the USC questionable/probables being ruled in.

The backup for ASU is unknown but he's a freshman with almost no experience and he's not mobile like Daniel which I think is key. USC struggles to contain the edge so they catch a huge break here not having to face Daniel
