This game is always special to me.
I'm a UConn homer, my dad was a career Navy military engineer.
Game is up the I-91 here I'm thinking about going, but it's going to be cold as fuk.

OK briefly Navy has been scoring all season, and UConn even though they've been playing better on defense, they still suck.

If the Huskies hang even a 13 burger count on my dads Navy squad to do the rest.
    This one's for you dad.

Hmm I think I will go, 16 bucks puts me on the 40 yard line.
    Bargain at twice the price.

Seems like uconn typically does well in these primetime games?

Uconn defense is really bad against the run. Not good when going against Navy.

Well it's great if you're betting the over right? Should be lots of explosive runs for Navy

I watch every UConn game, it's torture.
Wouldn't shock me if the Middies cover the 53 themselves.
          It'll be a track meet.
Very important, Navy has a place kicker with an accurate cannon.

Jfc you seriously sit thru every ucon gm? You nuts pal! Lol.

That randy Edsill has himself one heck of a agent! When watching do you play drinking games like “drink every Time he hits another incentive!” Lol.

I wouldnt trust uconn to score much. They may not need to but if navy is off a little bit you could see a 35-10 type game

One sided games go REALLY fast when they hit the 4th qtr. just ask the guys that bet utah/cal over last week..35-0 with 9 mins to go in the 3rd qtr and nobody scored the rest of the game

                            Good luck Nash.

I like Navy to roll. I’m not sure Connecticut will get enough. They average 19 or so a game and Navy only gives up 19 a game. However that’s against better teams.

So I hope your right. I’ll just ride Navy to cover. May go a little to tail you for support however.

                            Thanks for your input!

Will be close on the over. I'm estimating a 54-57 pt game. Something like Navy ~42-45 and UConn ~10-12. As someone pointed out the only problem is if UConn can score at all.

UConn D is in bottom 20% of NCAA and since Navy is ~85% running team, the clock is going to never stop. Can Navy score quickly enough to get the cover? Can Uconn score at all? I'm avoiding this game due to the uncertainty.

It might take a pick 6 or special teams score to push you over the edge.

                                Good luck.

That is shocking considering their overall offense is in bottom 10%.

                                      Shocking to me as well

I don't pretend to know exactly how all this stuff works but their overall explosiveness on offense is #122

So it stands to reason that their passing is really really really not explosive at all and at least the data supports that as they're dead last in FBS in passing explosiveness (#130). And that's AFTER their 56-35 win over umass last week lol

Is 50 degrees really cold? Also 10 mph winds isn't really windy either. At the very least doesn't affect an option team that runs it 90% of the time

I don't pretend to know exactly how all this stuff works but their overall explosiveness on offense is #122

So it stands to reason that their passing is really really really not explosive at all and at least the data supports that as they're dead last in FBS in passing explosiveness (#130). And that's AFTER their 56-35 win over umass last week lol
would a few huge rushing plays against umass have an effect on their rush explosiveness? any way to see what it was before that game?

I would assume so. I have no idea what it was last week but #11 would still indicate they've been doing it for more than just 1 game

Haven't seen a single minute of uconn football this year but apparently, they were ok last year running the ball too. They were 50th in rushing explosiveness. I remember they had a decent dual threat QB David Pindell but I know he's not there this year
