Really high number. SMU plays super fast but their offense isn't really that efficient. Memphis also plays really really slow. Their defense has improved a lot this year too and in particular they limit explosive plays well and have good red zone defense.

I look for Memphis to control the tempo of this game. I think they win and cover too and also think there's correlation. If Memphis covers, game goes under. If SMU wins/covers, game goes over.

I agree w most that but don’t think I’m touching, prob have Memphis in some kinda ml parlay but that be about it. We talk plenty bout how the hell smu scores so much rushing it 50x a game at just over 4 per rush? Lol. Makes no sense to me, no way I play the over in 70s!!

Illinois will run the ball with lots of success of course but I haven't seen enough from their passing game to believe they can just run up the score here

Whatever success Rutgers had last week putting points up is highly unlikely to happen here. Illinois DL is a class above Liberty's and should completely stuff the run. Oluwole Betiku is expected back and he's going to make life miserable for Langan. I still can't believe how well Langan played last week but I just can't see a repeat of that. More likely the awful performance like against Indiana.

If this would have been a early start I was gonna use Rutgers in my ml dog contest I play in! Lol. Few guys hit k-st last week so I need a home run. The early slot seems to be where the biggest happen so was disappointed this was 2:30, prob saved me a bad one anyways but I dunno. Wouldn’t totally shock me, Illini bout due for a stinker! Lol. I’m not touching this game in any manner tho., gl

But Illinois has some talent on the DL. Just looking at Rutgers scores against other Big Ten teams it's downright pathetic. Even against Maryland, they could only put up 7! Betiku is supposed to be one of the top pass rushers and what I've seen from Rutgers, they just don't have the athletes in the trenches.

Langan is a running QB and I don't think Illinois has really faced a dual threat guy yet so maybe they can be susceptible that way? Not sure. Maybe they can surprise but with Illinois not really showing much in the passing game, I think betting the total gives you a lot of flexibility

I don't see all that many big underdogs this week though? Do you dare try Maryland lol? They're supposed to have Josh Jackson back. There's some animosity between Locksley and Michigan OC too, could play a factor. Michigan also does struggle with speed and Maryland got an explosive running game. Maryland's just been a tough team for me to figure out. I still may bet them at 21.5

Other than that, I don't know, I kind of like the favorites. I think Notre Dame is a bad matchup for Virginia Tech's offensive line which grades out really poorly. South Carolina owns Vanderbilt and Vandy got that really big win against Missouri but that team (Vandy) is just a total wreck. Their QBs are horrible. They've got a decent running back but that's it. I thought they actually quit on Mason before that upset. They are coming off a bye though.

It just keeps me off it doesn’t push me to utes. No way I’d touch either the road favs in the 2 big pac12 games. Line still down to 3 despite that stuff. Chris Peterson teams been fantastic off a bye his whole career.,obviously he saw lot of cupcakes at Boise but he undefeated off bye and has very strong ats as well.

Yes those are all good points. Utah might be a little fraudulent too beating up on Cal 3rd stringer and ASU backup (I believe).

I think Utah -2 could be a buy point for me. but that's unlikely since wide receiver news isn't really that public I don't think. If/when news breaks, it would probably push Utah back to -3.5

Loving Notre Dame -17 today (buy hook). Va Tech averaging 40 points/game in their last three, and no way they sniff that against ND, who will be looking for some redemption off that embarrassment in Michigan. Tech also coming off a bye, so I expect them to start a bit slow and sloppy, leading to some early turnovers. As always, great thread, good luck!

I was too scared Michigan rolling and like I said last week I wasn’t sure Terps had any life left.

I ended up going with army, Vtech, and beavers cause I like to at least hit 1 every week to keep me in the top 3rd! Army really the only big one that “makes sense” to me, that wouldn’t surprise me any. Tech just desperation heave, lol.

Agree with the others, nothing stands out as a "top play". That said, Fla/Ga and SMU/Mem should be entertaining games to watch, regardless if you have money on it.
