With all that loot, probably not too bad.

He's fine. Also they wouldn't have won it all with him on the team

You have to wonder what he said.

Your right about the little kid that sees him for the 1st time but that's a two way street.

                                        Hope we find out .

In the mean time, thank you for all you do with some of the best pictures and most iconic pictures I've ever seen. So many memories !

That Clemente picture getting his 3,000th hit I had never seen. I was a huge Pirates and Stargell/Clemente fan then. All these years later, it damn near took my breath away.

                                        I really appreciate you sir.

Fukk Harper. Phillies blow the last leg of my parlay and Harper should apologize to his teammates for letting them down. Yes he’ll get fined for bouncing his helmet off the plate but that is a joke. You believe a fine will make him think? I doubt it.

Willie Stargell had a local contract with a fried chicken place that when he hit an HR at home they would give Pirate fans some free chicken. Hence the reason you would hear, “Spread some chicken Willie”, from the crowd.

I did not know that. Thank you !

Used to listen to KDKA Pittsburg at night from D.C.. Got a big radio that could get those baseball channels at night for Christmas when I was about 14.

I loved Stargell way back . Not sure why but well before he was pops or We are Family.

Hebner, Robertson, Sanguillien, Oliver, Blass, Ellis, Veale, Moose, all of them.

Wash. DC had no team anymore and we all hated the O's so somehow I found Pittsburg. So glad I did.

                                              Thanks again!

He reminds of Brian Lara the West Indies cricketer the had the swagger, but it looks like Harper will never win a world series now.

Willie Stargell had a local contract with a fried chicken place that when he hit an HR at home they would give Pirate fans some free chicken. Hence the reason you would hear, “Spread some chicken Willie”, from the crowd.
