yeah that wasn't a strike. I dunno why they need umps to call strikes and balls anymore. The technology is there to let the computers work it out. Let them be back there for the other shit but they dont need to have human error in the strike zone anymore

I’m torn on the subject. It is absolutely a joke we can all clearly see what a ball and strike is but have to watch these clowns constantly get it wrong, a 17 year old with a iPad could do a much better job!!

That said, it would make my years of work and huge notebook about the umps totally useless and it def gives me a edge so it would be a huge bummer to lose that!! Lol.

Not sure it worth it to me??? Yes it be great to have a uniform k-zone that always accurate. At same time it would take away something that is often a edge for me!!! Lol. And I’m not talking simple bs like the over under record or home/road for particular ump!! I’m talking does a ump give the high strike or low strike? Inside or outside corner? Does he squeeze everyone or have a generous zone? How a pitcher pitches combined with these ump tendencies or wind/park factors give a decent edge most don’t have any idea about!!!
