Breaking: NCAA's top governing board voted unanimously today to "permit students participating in athletics the opportunity to benefit from the use of their name, image and likeness in a manner consistent with the collegiate model."

One high-major head coach following NCAA announcement that it will allow NIL: “It’s great that the NCAA is doing this, but I don’t trust them to get it right when it’s all said and done. They will still find a way to screw it up.”

ncaa still keeps all the tv / ticket revenue, so this is a joke. throwing scraps to the peasants so they don't revolt.

Plus these marxist companies will endorse many black female athletes who will be marketed as "empowered" even though they're just making layups it will be pathetic

Wow, maybe they didn't want to fight California or they saw the snowball California created perched at the top of the hill. That's a tough ball to stop if it gets rolling into other states.

Goldy its not just hoops, it’s football and everything else too

Yes the California law was an unstoppable snowball. It was insane to tell these kids they couldn’t sign an autograph for money or accept compensation for shooting commercials in the offseason.
