PSU is the best I've seen in a very long time as well........

I think OSU would easily beat them in a best outta 5 series........

However when they play on the "Any Given Day Saturday" Nov 23rd,
an upset by PSU can not be overlooked...........

If PSU does UPSET em I don't think PSU is quite strong enough
to take the national title "yet".............

Also, OSU is the only big ten team who can run with the big dawgs

Totally agree. I think they def among the best but i still put them behind bama (with healthy Tua obviously) and LSU cause I know history!! It a real shame anyone will jump over the loser of bama LSU, not sure losing to either of them warrants falling behind teams beating the big 10 and acc where they play nobody of that caliber!!

Unfortunately, we still have a popularity contest to decide who plays in the playoff. The only difference is that now you have less voters. I say let's be honest about the whole thing. Even though this has no chance of happening, drop the regular season to 11 games. Each team get's rid of one of the patsies it plays. Expand the playoffs to 8 teams. Have the 5 Power 5 conference champions automatically entered and have 3 wild card teams. Do NOT give any Group of 5 team an automatic berth. Unfortunately, the University Presidents will not go for that.

Yea I like him. I still say bama and LSU 1-2 but obviously don’t matter since one of them dropping. I like osu better than sooners and prob Clemson right now.

History? The last time Ohio State played Bama they spanked them in the playoffs. This OSU team has a better defense and a better QB than that OSU team had.

Again, recent history shows us that teams who do not win their conference can still get into the final 4. See ohio state a few years ago.

If lsu or bama loses a close game to each other, the loser is still very much alive.

Except the Sooners only lost by 3 to texas in their only reg season loss while osu lost to Purdue by 29 and gave up a 50 spot to Maryland and damn near lost. Ray Charles could see that the Sooners were more deserving than the Buckeyes to make the playoff.

As far as the final ranking, that's because OU had to play bana and they lost while osu got to play Washington and won. 13-1 record vs 12-2.

All that matters is on 12/1/18 they were both 12-1 and the committee picked OU. Had they picked osu then the Buckeyes most likely lose to bama while OU probably wins a bowl, then OU would have finished higher than osu in the final poll.

just like in 2014 when TCU was leapfrogged by osu. The committee made the right call.

The only real rests remaining are the trip to ann arbor and the B1G title game at a neutral site.

Let's look at the non-con matchups. Alabama has Duke, New Mexico State, So. Miss and West. Carolina. LSU has Ga. Southern, @ Texas, Northwestern State, and Utah State. Ohio State has Florida Atlantic, Cincinnati, and Miami (Ohio). OU has Houston, South Dakota @UCLA. Baylor has Stephen F. Austin, UTSA and @Rice. Penn State has Idaho, Buffalo and Pitt. Oregon has Auburn (in Texas), Nevada and Montana.
Obviously LSU had the tougher schedule because they actually played an away game against a decent team. As far as conference schedules go, The Big 10 West (Worst), and any Division in the ACC are clearly the worst. The Big 12 has Baylor, OU, and a bunch of losers. I do not have a dog in this race, but so far, the best team I have seen is LSU. They have defeated Texas in Austin, Florida and Auburn. If they lost to Alabama, there is an outside chance they get into the playoffs because of their schedule. If Alabama loses to LSU, they do not deserve to get in. Not with that patsy schedule they play.
