Had been sitting in $500-700 range until tonight. One more thing that sucks about living in DC area. Too many rich penetrates who have to say they were there for appearances. Won't watch a single pitch but inflate ticket prices. I'd have paid $400, maybe a bit more. Will go downtown, eat crabs, sit at bar and actually watch game for $100.

True. Lobbyists and Contractors. Like I said, the folks who won't even watch the game. Just a notch/appearance thing. 3 guys from work went tonight. By game time cheapest ticket was around 1k. Tomorrow prices holding steady around 1.2k for standing room. I'm going to go downtown with the wife tomorrow to hang out amongst the crowds and party. Will go watch game at the bar though and save the Thousand dollars so I can lose it betting lol.
