cousins didn't turn the ball over and threw for 3 TD's...the offense put up 23 points...he can't do it all by himself...yes, the completion % was off today but playing at Arrowhead is never an easy task...was it Cousins fault that the Vikes defense allowed Damien Williams to rush for 125 yds and a TD on only 12 carries?!...was it Cousins fault that the so-called vaunted Vikings defense allowed an elementary school substitute teacher throw for 25 out of 35 and 275 yds with one TD and no Ints?!...not to mention that the Vikes were up 23 - 20 in the 4th quarter and the defense allowed the Chiefs to score on back-to-back drives..(i.e. Minny couldn't stop them when it counted)...having said all that, Kirk was never much of a scrambler and that slide a yard short was god awful but all of you Cousins haters can't pin this loss on him no matter how hard you try...this was his worst game in the last month or so and his QB rating was still 94.2 which is not all that bad..say what you want but he sure as hell didn't lose the game and truth be told, that's all you can ask of your QB especially in the NFL.Comment -
well, I will say this much uscphillyguy...so far in his career, no...but if he continues to put up great stats and numbers and wins a couple of Lombardi trophies before it's all said and done, then yes...but he needs to stay healthy for the next 10+ years and continue to perform at the same respectable level he is currently doing and then his total career yards, Td's, stats, production, rating, etc, etc...will be in most top 10 offensive QB categories regardless of which analytical metric(s) you are using...
