Let’s talk ncaa week 8!!

I'll probably throw Temple in a Manster style teaser. I know, I know, teasers in NCAA are for suckers. With a little discretion though can be a good bankroll builder (especially if you're an action junkie ).

I always say while I mostly dislike them in ncaa there are games they make just as much sense as nfl (not sure owls are one of them simply cause I think that game either owls win/very close or get destroyed). Udub would be a good example if that line under 3, assumingely tight game and what I think a lower scoring affair. Those the ones I try to pick out if I’m looking for a ncaa teaser. Udub and under makes a lot of sense to me.

I pulled the trigger on Pitt-3.5. Just think their front 7 is the dominate unit in this game and think the passing game is good enough., if you can say anything about the panthers is they been in some dog fights and know how to win when it close.

Thoughts on duke/uva? Uva maybe little overrated coming into this season? Duke always tough as dogs but 3 feels little short.

I just feel like ville the classic “if dog hangs it goes over”, think over could get their even if they don’t cover so imo just have a slighter better chance of cashing over. I suppose ville could cover and it stay under but considering how many holes the d has doesn’t feel real likely. Maybe if they try to play keep away w the run game I suppose could happen.

Bank, curious to hear your thoughts on Duke v UVA. I can’t help but think perception is a bit down on UVA after last 2 games, both in which they shot themselves in the foot and had opportunities to cover/win. Also, Duke, who’s best win on the year maybe a bad, bad VATech team on national tv, may be getting a bit too much credit, even though I’m a big fan of Cutliffe...seems this line might be a bit short imo.

I know turnovers get put in the “luck” category by some which I don’t really buy, obviously you can’t really cap for them but a hard nosed team like the owls prob gonna create more than they cough up in big games.

Despite being home I actually Hate this spot for smu even more than Memphis: I really believe when we get a team like smu who not used to success having this kind of year then a week off to get told how awesome they are by everyone on campus it a recipe for disaster. This the kind of weeks a ncaa coach really earns his money if he can keep them focused w eyes on the prize!!!

Don’t get me wrong, If smu comes out focused and on their Game I believe they roll. That said if they in any way take the field a little full of themselves temple the kind of team that will punch them in the mouth and test their heart!!! The NC / VT comparison is almost comical. NC played Clem within a point. Other than MIA win, where VT was crushed in yardage, they beat Old Dom, URI, and Furman. Throw in triple revenge angle for Heels - Would be shocked if they didn't win by 7+

Yea I agree. The Miami win was actually pathetic too. Canes spotted them 28 points on 4 1st half ints and they still almost lost!! Lol. Not exactly a feather in the cap!!

Doesn’t mean I’m right but feel like bears have some value, just think they little better than they been getting credit for vs the other big12 teams.

I will say the total steaming up to high 60s worries me, not in bears best interest for this Game to be played at a breakneck pace.

Also will day ranked dogs to unranked squads have not failed well this year. It used to be auto bet for me to play the unranked fav but thought there was a shift a few years back and it was basically a coin flip after that. This year believe the unranked fav is 7-2 straight up and i think ats as well. Maybe it time to balance out!!
