#40I'm far from an amateur, I'd venture to say I know more about btc than you but who cares. The question was can you send btc to cash app and the answer is yes, they act as a defacto wallet. I don't use them, but from what I know they're not an exchange, they shouldn't care about the origins of a deposit anymore than Electrum, etc. does. And I doubt a deposit from SBR (the OP's original question) would raise a red flag
You're wrong, admit it and move on.

#42Tough to tell if you got any answer yet.
But yes, just go to www.blockchain.com/wallet a create yourself a new wallet. Only takes 30 seconds.
If you plan to just deposit it into a book, that is all you will need.Comment -

#50I don't need confirmation, I know the pitfalls of btc/exchanges/sportsbooks. Your original position was you can't send btc to cash app. You have been proven wrong. Subsequent posts are backpedaling. Probably shouldn't barge into a thread like a know it all when in fact you don't. Own it and move on.Comment -

#51Buy with cashapp
Send to wallet
Wallet to book
Book to wallet
Wallet to cash app
Cash app to bank
NOT
Cash app to book
Book to cash app

PO69 was asking about a wallet to receive SBR prize bitcoin. Technically JTS is correct that it isn't a wallet, it's an exchanger that provides a wallet it controls for you to use. But you are also correct that there is no issue sending SBR prizes direct to CashApp.
But really who cares? Only you two I'd guess.
Both you and him were taking a serious thread off topic though. Making a new thread so you can talk to each other whilst other readers still get the info they need was the best solution..Comment -

How about:
Give SBR your cash app btc address
Receive btc
Send to bank
Clear enough?
OP: I like Electrum, but many use blockchain wallet. Especially if you're not holding, just using to send/receive.Comment -

Send to bank

#64Good job Opti. I would like to suggest that SBR creates a new forum below the Saloon called the Bitch Fight forum. All of the Moron/KVB and Firedawg/JTS posts could be moved into two threads in this new forum and we wouldn't have to weigh through 100's of useless posts on a daily basis!Comment -

I've been told by very reputable posters to send payouts to a wallet ( intermediary) before sending out to exchanges like cash app.
Not send directly from book.Comment -

#66Last reply, not getting stuck in your never ending shitfest. Anybody who reads this thread and has the reading comprehension of a 6th grader can see you shifted the thread once I posted a link proving you wrong. You know it, I know it, everyone knows it. End of story. BigO is right, if they're not gonna bounce you SBR needs a special forum for argumentative/know-it-all/never wrong/stalking fuks like you. Maybe a subforum under Politics, match made in heaven.Comment -

But this stuff is a good example of what is bad for SBR forum. All these posts about something that is barely relevant is what pisses people off and makes any thread you guys do it in un-readable.
If the worst that happens is that you get your argument pruned off into another thread in coming months, you'll probably be very happy. Catch the clue guys..Comment -
