Do you really think he sold $10 million worth of furniture in the last half year? I seriously doubt it. I think a couple years ago, he had 500 people that took his bet. That's not even close to $3.5m, $5m or whatever he bet. Hell, his net worth is like $80 million. That a huge number to bet based on your net worth.

In that thought process, every $1 bet that SBR players make is a huge bet. Most gamblers on SBR or other gambling boards have negative net-worth with debts.

Dude - I live down the street from a GF. My theater room is from GF. His first Astros promotion was $5k on any furniture. This year was only on mattresses. Maybe you should walk into one of his stores before you try to flame.

I can believe he may have lost that much with the furniture bet a few years ago. Hell, I told my wife to go in there and buy some shit but she went to the spa that day instead. haha. I still think that number may have been inflated but I definitely don't believe he's sold that many mattresses this year. Not even close.
