it looks like shell didnt renew and they couldnt find another title sponsor so it was moved from before the masters to now and detroit got a summer spot

its just houston open now
changing venues in 2020 and wouldnt surprise me if this tourney gets moved to a different city in the coming years

Houston Astros owner stepped in and saved the event. I think he's basically like a silent sponsor.

Baseball will be a theme at the event. For example they have bases as the markers in the tee box.

higgs off morning and lucas off in afternoon

i didnt think theyd mix matchups with morning/afternoon

morning tee times generally shoot .5 strokes better i think

i was trying to look up the morning/afternoon scoring difference.

the one from pgatour calculates it the wrong way

this one from 2014 only says its .114 or so better in morning
