Yankees close the series tonight with Severino on the mound. With the Astros losing today, the Yanks can close this out and get the extra day or more of rest.

The Yankee lineup is almost unfair to begin with, but they’ve also worked a walk per inning this series. Having HR power and patience like that is almost cheating. They get Odorizzi’s pitch count up early, get back into that struggling bullpen and win by 2+.

Severino has pitched only 12 innings this year, but they’ve looked pretty damn good. He feels good. I think he gives them 5 innings and the Bullpen takes over.

When you go to big park w chilly weather it happens. Not to take anything away from waino game 3 performance but had that game been in atl or even a week sooner here in stl he would gave up several bombs that were long fly outs on Sunday!!

If you were gonna take shot on them the only justifiable time would be 1st 5 innings. Once they trailing after 5th the mismatch is just too great. Their pen awful.
