I’m sure he is relieved. The team will never win with Snyder and Allen as owner and president. I Think he is owed over 5 million to not work next season. Not a bad deal.

Might be a guy better suited as coordinator or position coach.

Tomlin and Pittsburgh need a separation. It has run its course. He might be a good choice for Washington though. I think he could start building a foundation and culture to get team pointed in right direction. Bowles might be an ok coach in his next opportunity. The Jets job was built to fail for him. Can’t really judge him with what he was given to work with.

Well Tomlin is from the area and his son plays football at the University of Maryland so it would be a homecoming of sorts...I didn't realize how successful Tomlin has been...damn good overall record and one Superbowl win...and I think only Bill Belechick is the only current head coach who has a better win % than Tomlin does and not to mention that Tomlin has never had a losing season...but here's the thing...Dan Snyder and Bruce Allen are sure to muck it up with their constant interfering and meddling...they simply won't let real football minds (GM, scouts, assistants, and coaches) run things like most pro teams do and that is why we've been one big dysfunctional mess and laughingstock of the league for the last 20+ years ever since Snyder bought the team in 1999.
