Stadiums are empty.
T.V. deals, with a few exceptions (Yanks, Sox, etc.) bring in pennies compared to NFL, NBA.
162 is and always will be idiotic. Can`t wait for a couple playoff games getting snowed out.

Beane and his staff probably wouldn`t know what to do with a huge budget.

Baseball is still far and away the best sport to talk about. I have no idea why.

Because the talk is all about the game not who is kneeling, is the team going to go see the president, or who raped/beat their wife last week, or who is refusing to play because he wanted 90 million a year instead of 85 million a year. In other words the game isnt filled with trash.
