Yeah I hit an Under 9.5 with them a few weeks ago. KC lefty Danny Duffy shutout Oak for 8 innings in a game they really needed

I'm a Royals fan, the Duff man when on is as unhittable as any elite LHP in the league.
Problem with Duffy is he's too damn inconsistent.

Remember the 87 twins?

Sure, in many ways that Twins teams was both good and bad for the game.
I don't have time to write the entire story but I think you know it anyway.

in 1987 Peter Uberroth was Commissioner, her took over for Bowie Keun in 1984-1985.

Uberroth inherited Keun's collusion, reserve clause, players strikes, gambling, drugs and cocaine ...... clusterfucks.
Uberroth and his sworn enemy Marvin Miller were always involed inv some players union behind the scenes and open court battles.
In the mid and late 1980's one of baseballs biggest problems was 'small city markets can't survive' bullshit.

Well in 1987 the Twins won it all.
They were considered a 'small market' team that wasn't supposed to survive according to Marvin Miller and his gang.

I'll finish this story later I have a full plate of things to do this morning but 1987 was a nightmare for MLB with all the shit going on.
