Why does auburn keep getting disrespected by Vegas ? I don’t understand it . They are punishing their opponents but Vegas still has them as small favorites or under dogs every weeks vs bums

First of all I think Auburn is the better team.

Now having said that....
Florida is 5-0. Auburn is 5-0.
Auburn is 7th ranked.
Florida is 10th ranked.

Auburn so far and upcoming schedule is brutal and so far has taken care of business impressively.
Auburn’s strength of schedule is the 5th toughest in the country. And those wins over Oregon and
Texas A&M were quality. Auburn is 3-0 so far vs. top 30 teams.

Auburn is -3 on the road right now and I think that line is correct.
Jeff Sagarin says Auburn is 7.5 points better than Florida on a neutral field, and he’s pretty much spot on as usual.

Now factor in the home field advantage and that’s important in college football.
The Swamp is a difficult place to play in. Even tougher if you’re a conference undefeated top ranked foe.
Tough to concentrate when 88,000 plus Gator fans are screaming at you.
That home field is worth four points alone.
7.5 points Auburn is better than Florida is correct on a neutral field.
Take away 4 points for the home field and there is your line. 3 to 4 points.
Play this game in Auburn and they’ll be about -10 or so.

Now before betting Auburn even though they are the better team fading ranked teams at home when the home team is an underdog is risky business. But Auburn looks like to be the right side.

If you can get -3 or better it might be a good idea to grab it now. The line may climb as the week goes on.
Auburn can not afford to lose this game. They have to face Alabama this season and Georgia.
Florida doesn’t face Alabama.

In my opinion Alabama is the best in the nation right now.
Georgia is #2, than Auburn, then LSU in the SEC.

One last item, my philosophy has always been if you like a side, bet the side.

Agree with everything you said , I just feel like Vegas has been consistently giving great value on auburn week in and out . And I’m wondering when will they catch on . I let the line mind penetrate me vs A&M when I knew auburn was a better team smh .

Young quarterback who isn't much of a passer and Auburn has started strong early before recently and struggled late.

Gators started the season top 8 and has slipped to 10 even though going 5-0. Notre Dame is ahead of UF in the polls, even with 1 loss. UF fans don't respect this team, opposing fans don't respect this team and opposing players don't either. I remember last year around this time, LSU fans and players disrespected the Gators as well. Doesn't mean UF wins Saturday but I love being the underdog. Can't wait.
