When both people are in on the joke or are at least willing to partake in it. Passive aggressively trying to signal messages or outright be a coksukker isn’t acceptable. That’s exactly why a few years ago we created a “bumping old threads” infraction and we also have the ability to disable that option from posters. We’re getting way too many complaints about this lately and from a wide variety and demographic of posters so it’s time to be an adult and say it’s not cool

How about common sense? You and I both know the difference between bumping an old thread because say we’re genuinely concerned about a poster and bumping a thread to take a passive aggressive dig at someone or SBR. Other than trying to show someone a thread that has legitimate gambling knowledge in it or because say that Vietnamese pedicurist got mentioned and some people are asking to see the original thread, bumping threads from say 2004 are only done to be a dikk and to try to target a fellow poster or SBR. Funny thing is this isn’t even about SBR.... it’s about the number of people who feel this isn’t appropriate behaviour towards fellow posters which is actually great when you think about it! Do this crap in the summer when it’s dead if need be. Not now

By requesting the use of common Sense or courtesy, the entire premise is flawed. I am saddened by the request because it will eliminate some of the best entertainment. But, I will gladly oblige by the new rule and not antagonize the SBR staff or unfairly make moderation more difficult.
