Arizona running back was almost a yard short of the 1st down. The ref nearest the ball immediately signals 1st down and then runs quickly out of the picture. The ref spotting the ball spots it on the 1st down line.

Announcers are saying he was well short.

Replays show he was well short. Not one part of his body got close to the 1st down.

Refs give Arizona the 1st down. Unbelievable.

one of those games where u know whats gonna happen after u see how bad a team's defense is they maybe can get a stop on 1st and 2nd sometimes but never on 3rd down and if they somehow happen to its 4th and 1 and the team goes for it on 4th down and get it, rinse and repeat all night long

Reminds me of the Washington "tackling" of USC at the end of the 1st half. USC receiver catches the ball and a Washington player doesn't eve pursue him being less than 5 yards away from him.
