I disagree. I coached 10-11 yr old football for 4 years. You teach kids to see what they hit. Period. You don't lower your helmut and just smash into shit like Jackass The Movie. Thats how these guys end up all fk'd up and suicidal at 45 or 50. Barnett did that twice tonite before the strip of Rodgers. That GB RB is probably on IR now. The days of guys spearing people and destroying helmuts like Mike Singletary is over. Many of these guys can barely walk at 55 or 60. Their brains are half mush as well. If you love the game then you need to root for player safety. These are real human beings. Mostly stupid and childlike violent thugs that need to be protected from themselves, but still people.

Don’t start with the “I coached pee wee football, I know” crap, I feel like you insulting our intelligence with that.

Obviously you never actually played at any type of decent level. You cannot control the way offensive players move at the last second. Very few these kids getting tossed are plays where they launching with helmet 1st anymore!! You cannot control incidental contact w heads and you can not do anything about the offensive player moving at last second like they often do which creates the illegal contact. Saying otherwise just says you have never tackled anyone.

If they want to flag if fine, even tho many of them are garbage. Kicking the kid out of the game is a bitch move and is way to impactful on the games.
