In a word yes I take a minimum of two days off during the MLB season no more than than three.
In football no.
Betting the NBA and NCAAF, same as baseball.
I don’t bet NHL only because I don’t have the time to handicap it.

I do not take breaks so to speak, but what I have found is that the games are getting worse and more difficult to watch and wager on. The NBA is unwatchable. For many years, Football has been the only sport that I have wagered big money on. Now, the sport is being ruined. The players are nothing but a bunch of patsies for the most part. The Defenses are just terrible. The D-backs are afraid to hit someone. Where are the players like Butkus, Singletary, Lott, and others who would just as soon take your head off or break every bone in your body? Today's players, especially defensive players, are afraid to hit anyone. To make matters worse, when someone does lay a player out, the Ref's are there to call a penalty. That, plus the ridiculous money that these losers demand just ruins the sport.

I am sure there are a lot of others who agree with me out there. It seems as if the only thing that concerns today's players is money. That ruins the sport that they participate in. it also ruins it for the true fan of that sport. My wagering will go down, but the reason is that the games are getting so bad that I just as soon pass on them. Only the degenerates will continue to wager on this garbage, and the degenerates are ALL losers. Each and every one of them. With them, wagering is a habit at best, and a sickness, much like alcohol or drug dependency, at worse. Not for me. I enjoy wagering a buck or two on horses. It is a break-even venture for me. Over a year, I may make or lose 5% of my starting bank. No big deal either way. But as long as the product that the NCAA and NFL puts out continues to worsen, my wagering will continue to shrink. You used to wager on team A against team B. Now you are wagering on team A, team B, the ref's, which player may decide to sit out because he hurt his pinky finger, who is being sued for being a total ass with some lady, and 100 other things that have nothing to do with the game itself.
