The only way it occurs in Florida is if the Seminole Indians run it, and they use the racetracks as outposts. Mobile betting would be a longshot. Currently the Seminoles and the State are in a dispute with no signs of resolution, so it may be a while. Any new gambling through another entity would require a 60% passage.Comment -

#45i doubt it, we just legalized Sunday alcohol sales in 2011, think about that for a second, and that is after 12:30. Georgia is the belt buckle of the Bible Belt, we’ll get gambling and marijuana sales after the rest of the country legalizes cocaine and prostitution.Originally posted by RudyRuetiggerlast AJC article i read said maybe within or inside sports arenas (hawks, falcons, braves)
there shouldve been atleast 1 maybe 2 meetings on this by now
since no news, its bad news for sports betting i assumeComment -

#46Politicians in Georgia figure they can't get elected if they support sin. Ga. Full of illegal drugs. Atlanta keeps closing strip clubs. #50Could the tribes not have just told the governments to fuk off and book bets on their own as they are on sovereign territory. Its how they do what ever the fuk they want in Canada. Been dealing drugs and humans for many years for those that are bordering the USA. 40 pot shops in Tyendinaga alone. Kahnawake has the Playground Poker and the Kahnawake gaming commission. as if that means anything other than to protect native assets.Comment -

#54I was at Cherokee last weekend. They are going to open up a small version of the sportsbook with kiosks and a betting counter in a month. The big sportsbook hasn’t even began construction... but it should start soon. They’re going to build a sportsbook and put the poker room right beside it.Comment -

#55good news for georgia next year
Legal sports betting in Georgia received support from the Presidents of the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Hawks and Atlanta United this week.
very long, here is first part
Winter may be just around the corner, but talks surrounding legal sports betting in Georgia are heating up down in “Hotlanta.”
And while the outlook for legislation passing in 2020 looked good before this week, sports betting can now be considered a “safe bet” to arrive in the Peach State sometime next year.Comment -
