It’s always like this at this time of year. People are getting burned out, it’s a long season, rosters are huge now so very unpredictable games, football is just starting and everyone focused there.

Didn’t care about in April and definitely don’t care about it now

Start March 1st, require retractable domes in northern cities (what were they thinking in Minneapolis?) and have playoffs in September mostly scheduled around NFL. Basically get out of the way of the NFL like the PGA did. Lots of good MLB drama on the last 30-45 regular season games and people are too busy lining up their fantasy rosters to care.

Plus you eliminate 30 degree October nights since MLB insists on mostly night playoffs. But I guess the retractable dome would solve that.
