NFL WEEK 2 - Interesting Trends
Some interesting trends to consider when betting week 2:

Patriots are 0-5 ATS when laying 19+ points. Pats lost SU @ Miami last season. AB just got accused of rape and sexual assault by his former trainer in Miami. Patriots are currently -19 @ Miami.

Last 4 years, the teams that opened TNF week 1 have covered 7 of 8 games in week 2.
-Green Bay is -2.5 in home opener at sold out Lambeau vs Minnesota. Green Bay hasn’t beaten Minnesota since 2016.
-Chicago is -2.5 @ Denver. Denver’s coach was the Bears’ D Coordinator last season.

    Last season in TNF:
    Home teams 11-4-2 ATS
    Home teams 13-4 SU
    Favorites 11-4-2 ATS

I dunno about trends. There's a good thread about trends in the handicapping think tank , and I totally agree with the general consensus that trends are very subjective and should just be (a small) part of the reason why you make a bet.

throw the trends out the window. the Dolphins are a JV squad going up against the most talented Patriots team in years. I would steer clear from that game completely.

Agree with Jay, trends only one factor to consider

But I’m already on Dolphins +19. I like that spot A LOT.

It's soo many points...I'm trying real hard to not bet it but these dolphins are fundamentally horrible DOM. There's a ton of issues in that locker room, especially with the secondary which was supposed to be a bright spot and the oline...it's probably the absolute worst oline in the league. Jesse Davis is the star?! Good luck bro, I'll be rooting for you - I'm staying faaaaaaaar away

              Good/Interesting stuff Dom.

There's a reason for the saying: "The trend is your friend."

Let's see how it pans out.
