Newly crowned AEW World Champion Chris Jericho reportedly had his title belt stolen from him over the weekend while eating dinner at a Longhorn Steakhouse in Florida, according to the Tallahassee police department.
Jericho, who won the inaugural event by defeating Adam Page on Saturday, filed the report on Monday.
Jericho posted a video to his Instagram account on Tuesday confirming the report.
"Unfortunately less than 24 hours after I became the first AEW champion with blood streaming down my face after one of the hardest matches I've ever had in my life, some lowlife scumbag committed grand larceny and robbed me of the AEW championship," he said.
