    is Giannis overrated ?
After watching yesterdays World Cup game , and bringing back some memories from last playoffs I got some conclusions.

    - No decent shot ability from distance nor mid range allow opponnents to stay 1m and more away from Greek, making him easier to guard and prone to getting offensive fauls .

    - In my opinion players with such skillset are easy to double team . Team that concentrate his defense in the paint limit his number of options drastically.

    - Observing his actions , he is doing exactly what defending opponnents wants. Fade away post move shots , mid range jumpers , wide open 3 , using elbows playing post moves etc

    - I do not think mental side is his atribute as this point

He's a cross between L.James & R.Gobert... no he is NOT overrated. He's not a polished player like say, Leonard, but he's an animal on defense and extremely tough to stop in transition... after that you can forgive that he's not a great iso' player.

His game does not translate well to FIBA play though. I doubt Greece make the elite 8 KO phase.

When you can dunk from the 3 point line you don't need a long range shot.

Nope not overrated. He's still just 24! His shot needs to improve only marginally and he will be the most dominant 2 way player in the league.

The Bucks also really screwed up giving Bledsoe that deal. Just not the ideal skillset to pair with Giannis.

One of the most talented young players in nba and we are calling him overrated? No wonder most of you can’t figure out why you consistently lose your bets.

everybody knows his jumper is suspect thus far and teams dont play reg. season games like some, not all, will adjust in the playoffs. with those playoff adjustments like simmons he struggled some so why dont every team play bucks like that in reg. season? since he won mvp with no decent jumper and isnt a 350 lb monster bullying people he may actually be underrated. I think both guys will have good mid range games that will extend a bit in the coming years which happens to just about every player that people once said couldnt shoot which is why I dont understand why the no jumper is harped on so much since they are still very young

He will be fine. Growing pains of becoming a star. NBA is a lesson learning league.
