This is the slowest moving storm that I can ever remember.. Could take a month to reach the Florida coast.. I'm reading it's only moving at 1mph now.. It's crawling along..

It's just rested in the Bahamas.. Constant slamming.. Bahamas are getting ABSOLUTELY ruined.. Check out the vid in this link below.. People are dying right now.

It probably will still slam the South Florida coastal areas pretty hard at Cat 4 level. It will do some damage but nothing like what is happening in the Bahamas. I wouldn't call this a dud just yet JJ...

All east/west roadways in the South Florida area is now one way in both directions.

Dangers of choosing to live on the beach. Remember Native Americans never built reservations on the beach. Always on high ground. Only Europeans build on the beach defying mother nature.

Dome house are best to face weather and rains as everything just rolls off them smoothly.. If I move to Florida coast line I may go dome home like JJ's bald head ..

Actually the house in the picture will be destroyed by the hurricane winds. The openings at the first floor will allow the wind to lift it up. It's like a hot air balloon. Will be fun watching it lift up and spin because of the round shape.

Naw Pavy wind passes through as the opening holes goes thru and thru, big steal foundation bolted down and the steal foundation beams runs deep into the ground with cement. Impossible to lift in that kind of dome structure.. Flood waters a different story though..

I can build a house with my bare hands today not that I'd want to (except for the electrical probably), just what I grew up learning coming out of college being in Property Management, investing in real estate and running a restaurant repair business for years after that. Had to learn it.

I did study in class and eventually got my masters although in mechanical engineering. Anyway, that structure should be excellent if it is attached to a foundation correctly. It does lack Windows however which also make it good for storms but not so livable. It could be like the situation in last year's storm in the panhandle of Florida where a dude built his house way over code only to have the entire neighborhood get flattened. Ask that dude about his property values today and then assess the values of building such a structure.

Yup gotta build the foundation like you would a house built on the side of a mountain with possible and potential mud slide potential.. Deep foundation is everything.. Sink it in deep and bolt it down.. Cement, steel and rebar will do the trick every time!!!

The hurricane stopped moving.. It's just spinning in place now and working over the Bahamas..

Must be global warming and Trumps fault.. ..

You know our military and or scientists have the technology and power to disrupt hurricanes now. Many theories on it. Should try it. Blast it apart in the sky..
